Pamela S. Hall Environmental Consulting Firm Executive Normandeau Associates Inc.

Pamela S. Hall | Environmental Consulting Firm Executive | Normandeau Associates Inc.

Pamela Hall became involved in her profession because she always had an interest in the biological world. The environmental movement started when she was at the University of New Hampshire working towards a Master of Science in zoology that combined both her professional and personal interests. In addition to this degree, she also earned a Bachelor of Arts in zoology from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire, summa cum laude.

Supported by this academic background, Mrs. Hall began working as a curatorial assistant at the University of Connecticut. She continued her love of research at the Field Museum of Natural History before joining the faculty at the University of New Hampshire as a teaching assistant. In 1971, Mrs. Hall joined her current company, Normandeau Associates Inc. as the Marine Laboratory Director. Through her years of hard work, she became the Vice President, Senior Vice President, President and Chief Executive Officer. Since 2000, she has served as a member of the Board of Directors, and since 2015, has lead the institution as the Board Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President. Mrs. Hall is most proud of taking the institution from being owned by a Fortune 500 company to being 100% employee-owned. In five years, Mrs. Hall hopes the company continues to grow and provide the service to its clients or other companies, knowing that the industry is changing.

In recognition of her work, Mrs. Hall has received such accolades as:

EBJ Lifetime Achievement Award, Environmental Business Journal (2021); Lifetime Achievement Award, Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire (2016); Above and Beyond Award, Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire (2014); Outstanding Business Women, New Hampshire Business Review (2012); Environmental Leadership Award, Environmental Business Council of New England (1998); National Defense Education Act Fellow (1970-1971); Graham Foundation Fellow (1966)
